MY ROLE
What I did on Blades of Fire.
- 01Full-time animator on the gameplay team for two and a half years
- 02Mocap retargeting, cleanup and enhancement of captured combat sets
- 03Hand-key animation polishing and gameplay-driven adjustments
- 04Performed as in-house mocap actor for combat and character captures
- 05Worked within an AAA production pipeline: Maya, Perforce, internal review tools

About the project.
Action-fantasy AAA developed by MercurySteam and published by 505 Games. The game is built around forging and wielding weapons in a dark fantasy world, with combat as its core mechanic. Released in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
